April 2nd, 2023. Had a high run resulting with about 900 gallons!
The upgraded vacuum pump is an overkill for our 850-tap operation. It is powered with a 5hp motor. I assume it can easily pull adequate vacuum on a several thousand tap sugar bush. For now, I will fire it up and get it online for the big runs.
