week of 2/11 and 2/18/24 Best week ever!

To Start, We are proud Grandparents of a brand new baby boy. His name is Nolan Neil Altmann. born on Tuesday the 13th. We are Thrilled!

With that happening Mother Nature must have know what was coming because she sent a blast of arctic air to freeze things up with a little snow from Thursday through Monday resulting in a complete shut down so we could travel south and meet little Nolan.

The first run produced 3000 gallons of sap, we hauled some away and also boiled up 35 gallons of syrup and things look good for a late November run this week.

Thank You Jeff, Paul and Dean for helping out getting things started! Also thank you everyone for checking in and we’ll keep things updated.>

IT’S A NEW SEASON!

Well, I think it’s safe to say that this winter (with no snow) is so far the most unusual! It is February 4th and after a week of scrambling the hard work is done and all 800 taps are drilled in, lines are sanitized and sap gathering has begun. We started Monday January the 28th, and the reason for that of coarse is the forecast was favorable to begin. None of us “sappers”want to miss an early run! Today yielded the first 450 gallon run. Never did I think things would ever come alive this soon. We’ll see what happens when March gets here.

A couple new things… we still have a limited stock of the “bourbon infused syrup” in the 24oz bottles. Email or text to reserve some.

Also introducing our new forest companions “C & B”, our red and blue heeler pups. They are taking over where Ozzy had left off and so far they are doing a good job!

Bourbon Sucsess!

The availability of our bourbon infused syrup is a limited supply. It is becoming a more popular item as time goes on. We will increase inventory this year and a new batch should be ready by August.

To purchase any 24 ounce bottles of bourbon flavored syrup please contact me through this website , Facebook or text and I’ll have it ready for you.

Thank You!

Happy New Year! A few new things…

We successfully cooked up another batch of Bourbon Infused Syrup! The product is aged for 4 months in a barrel from Great Northern Distilling. We have about 30 bottles left, They sell for $12.00 per 24 oz.

Another new feature we offer is payment by “Venmo”. Now for your convenience, you can pre pay or scan at the roadside. Look for the QR code on this website in the “Products/Pricing page or at the roadside stand.

Also again I’d like to thank all of you who have returned bottles, It so far has worked in the “Fight Inflation” campaign and preventing price increases.
