About

We began preparations for sap & syrup production in the late spring of 2013.

Our sugarbush is established on a 40-acre parcel occupied by several of my family members We currently drill over 800 taps with room to expand. Our sap yield has averaged about 11,000 gallons annually.

Most of the sap collected here is concentrated and hauled to a larger area producer.

My desire to spend time in the forest has always been irresistible. I have found that time spent working outdoors in the winter months is the perfect way to overcome “cabin fever”, and it also keeps myself in good physical shape.

This property we enjoy working and living on is proudly dedicated to my late grandfather and father, William McGinley & Robert Altmann for their lifelong efforts in excellent forest management.
